Safety of funds
We understand that the client hands us not just an amount but their trust. That is why every deal is built around clear terms, status control and careful risk management.
1. An agreed scenario before payment
Before sending funds, the client receives clear terms of the deal:
- route
- amount
- rate
- rate lock period
- payment method
- payout method
- timing
- payment details
- possible checks
- the manager’s contact
We do not recommend sending funds until the terms are agreed.
2. The order page
Every order has a number and a status. The order page helps the client see which stage the operation is at:
- order created
- rate locked
- awaiting payment
- funds received
- payout in progress
- deal completed
- check required
- order on hold
- rate expired
3. Checking payment details
We ask you to check the details carefully before sending.
For crypto operations it is especially important to check: the network, the address, the memo/tag (if needed), the amount and the network fee.
For bank and card operations it is important to check: the recipient’s name, the card or account number, the payment purpose (if required), the amount and the currency.
4. AML / KYC / KYT
In some cases we carry out additional checks to protect the client, the service and partners. A check may be required for large amounts, non-standard routes, a high transaction risk or discrepancies in the data.
5. Working with cash
For cash routes the following are agreed in advance:
- the city
- the currency
- the amount
- the payout method
- the estimated time
- the terms of the handover
- the manager’s contact
- additional requirements, if any
We do not recommend changing the terms of a meeting or handover outside the agreed communication channel.
6. What we never ask for
Welcome Xchange never asks for:
- seed phrases (wallet recovery phrases)
- private keys
- passwords for exchanges
- passwords for banks
- codes from SMS
- two-factor authentication codes
- full access to wallets or accounts
If anyone asks for this data on behalf of the service, do not share it and contact us through an official channel.
7. What to do if in doubt
If you doubt the payment details, the manager’s contact, the order status or the terms of the deal — stop and verify the information through an official channel. It is better to spend a few minutes checking than to face a payment error.
The safety of a deal is not a single action but the whole process: agreeing terms, checking details, monitoring receipt of funds, AML / KYT procedures and support until completion.
