Crypto in Belarus: what to check before exchanging
Decree No. 8 is not blanket permission for every crypto exchange. Check subsequent legislation and the terms of your particular transaction.
Who handles the exchange
The tax authority explains that under Decree No. 367 of 17 September 2024, individuals buy and sell tokens for money through the relevant HTP-resident operators. The previous claim about unrestricted use of foreign exchanges overlooked these restrictions.

No blanket tax exemption should be assumed. Check current tax-authority guidance and keep transaction records and evidence of the source of funds. Ask a tax adviser about your individual circumstances.
