Thailand DTV Visa: building a financial base via USDT

What is DTV and who it suits
DTV is valid for 5 years with stays up to 180 days per entry. It suits freelancers, remote employees of foreign companies, investors and those who want to spend extended time in Thailand without repeatedly renewing visas.
Financial requirements
- Proof of income: from $80,000 per year (bank statement or tax return)
- Alternative: $40,000 in a bank account at time of application
- Also required: health insurance of at least 40,000 THB
- Documents must be translated into English and apostilled
USDT → THB: creating a confirmable balance
If funds are not available in a traditional bank account, you can convert USDT to THB and credit a Thai account. Open an account at Kasikorn, Bangkok Bank or SCB first, then convert the required amount through us and receive the transfer. A statement after 2–3 months will show a stable balance.
Opening a Thai account: realistic options
- Kasikorn (KBank): accepts tourists with passport + flight ticket + hotel booking confirmation
- Bangkok Bank: stricter, but opens accounts for non-residents at select branches
- SCB (Siam Commercial Bank): usually requires a Non-Immigrant visa
- Online alternatives (Wise, Revolut): convenient for bank statements, but do not issue FET forms

- Accommodation: 10,000–60,000 THB/month depending on city and type
- Food (mix of cafes and restaurants): 8,000–20,000 THB/month
- Transport (scooter or taxi): 3,000–8,000 THB/month
- Health insurance: 1,500–5,000 THB/month
- Total minimum comfortable budget: 25,000–40,000 THB/month
